Hi, I’m Jen
I'm the person behind Word Dragon and I’ve been a careers writer since 2010.
What I do
As a CV writer, I've provided services to thousands of UK job seekers who want to improve their chances of winning an interview. My clients have included individuals from numerous industries and at all stages in their career, from students through to senior executives of global businesses.
In the last few years, I've expanded Word Dragon to include careers content writing and editing. I’ve written hundreds of articles which have been published internationally by industry-leading websites, including Careerminds, Career.io, and CV Library, as well as the British Association of CV Writers.
My qualifications
With a Master's degree in English and certification as a qualified proofreader, I deliver high quality documents that avoid common language errors. Since 2023, I've been a registered and certified member of the British Association of CV Writers, a community dedicated to promoting best practices in CV writing. All members complete a CV writing test, sign a code of ethics and commit to on-going professional development, meaning you're in safe hands.
My approach
As part of the Word Dragon CV writing service, I aim to fully understand your career and ideal next steps in order to produce documents that you can use as your personal sales tools.
Likewise when you need content, I will ensure it is thoroughly researched, well structured and positively represents you and your brand.

What you need to know
All documents are written by me personally – nothing is outsourced to third parties. While I appreciate that AI can be a valuable tool, I never use it to write for my clients. You deserve the human touch.
Oh and one more thing: I don't pay for awards, just so that I can call myself "award-winning". The regular referrals I receive from happy customers are all the recognition I need.
